Every year we organise education summits in collaboration with one of our partner colleges of the University of Cambridge HEI* in the UK and China, where we invite representatives and academics of all our partner universities from the UK and China. Our education summits provide an excellent platform for our partner colleges and universities to present and discuss various partnership opportunities.

Past Summits

Education Summit 2019 was hosted by CUDC at St. John's College, University of Cambridge, in Cambridge, UK, from 4th July to 5th July 2019. The summit aims to provide a comprehensive exchange platform for more than 40 education institutions from both China and the UK, including 100 senior leaders from Chinese and UK universities, education authorities and institutions. Summit attendees can explore and discuss collaboration in educational programmes, research, and promote the internationalisation of their university.

Education Summit 2018 was hosted by CUDC at St. John's College, University of Cambridge, in Cambridge, UK. The summit provided a fantastic opportunity for British and Chinese Universities to present their ambitions and vision. Academics exchanged ideas on several opportunities for collaboration including international research cooperation, student exchange programmes, training programmes for academics and professionals as well as the development of overseas campuses of there higher education institutions.

Education Summit 2017  was co-hosted by CUDC and Clare Hall, University of Cambridge, in Beijing, China. More than 20 representatives from Chinese universities including Wuhan University, Zhejiang University, Northeast Normal University, South China University of Technology attended the conference. Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Clare Hall and CUDC to follow up with the programmes for academics and professionals, student programmes, and Visiting Fellow Programme. Clare Hall also signed MoU with several participated universities during the conference to conclude this successful and fruitful event.
