
Introduction
Several groups of university students from China and Korea are coming between January and February 2020 to attend the Residential Education Programmes in Cambridge, organised by China UK Development Centre and Maxer Education Institute. The programme mainly consists of academic lectures, visits and social activities, with the aim of offering the students a taste of studying abroad and exploring different cultures. We offer various subject-related programmes, including Law, Medicine, Business, Finance, Accounting, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Chemistry, Language, Culture and Education, as well as Natural Sciences and Engineering, Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, etc.
Our staff have always been the most valuable and significant part of our educational programmes. They contribute greatly to the success of the operation and co-create many wonderful memories with our students. Our staff has also gained professional experiences and valuable skills in mentoring, event management and coordination. General Responsibilities
Residential Tour Leaders (Full-Time, Contract)

Help with the logistics and delivery of the programme and accompany students during the entire programme, ensuring the smooth operation of the programme and a happy and safe experience for students

Provide full support to the CUDC Operation Team to ensure the smooth delivery and coordination of the winter programmes
Chief Academic Supervisors (Part-Time 10h/w, Contract)

Take on a leading role in supervising students, providing pastoral care, coordinating and hosting academic activities and events including orientation, supervisions, lectures, workshops, exams, final presentations and formal dinners

Correct academic assignments and write supervision reports and reference letters for students based on their performances

Provide full support to the CUDC Operation Team to ensure the smooth delivery and coordination of the winter programmes
Academic Supervisors (Part-Time 5h/w, Contract)

Provide supervisions and pastoral care and support Chief Academic Supervisors by helping with academic activities and events, including orientation and formal dinner

Working Periods
The duration of the programmes is from 10 to 15 days. Tour Leaders must commit to the entire programme. Supervisors will work at specific hours depending on the final schedule of the programme. Applicants can select their preferred period(s) to work on their application form.

Salary and Benefits
Residential Tour Leader (Full-Time, Contract)
Earning £800 to £1500+ plus bonus per programme

Working period: 10 to 15 days

Payment: basic salary of £80-100 per day (depending on the experiences), plus bonus upon completion of the programme. The bonus is related to the group size, length of the programme and feedback on your performance.
Chief Academic Supervisor (Part-Time 10h/w, Contract)
Estimated earning from £940 to £1055+ per programm

Working hours: 10 hours per week, which can be mutually agreed

New starters £30/hour; Experienced (1+ year) £35/hour
