The Career Fair

 

Introduction

The overseas recruitment fair will be taking place on 5th July 2019 at St John's College, University of Cambridge. 

Universities from China are increasingly looking to enhance their international reputation and play bigger roles in advancement of education in the world. One approach to achieve this goal is to recruit talent from across the world to work and research at Chinese universities. 


Three universities from China: Hebei University, Nanjing Institute of Technology and Northeast Normal University will be taking part in the recruitment fair taking place at the end of the CUDC Education Summit 2019. 
The president of each university will introduce their institution to the audience, which will provide an opportunity for the attendees to learn more about all 3 universities. The universities will highlight their ambitions, strengths and talk more about life as an academic and researcher at their institution. At the end of each session, there will be time for attendees to directly ask questions from each university.

Please send your CV and Cover Letter to recruit@cudc.info  (Quote the role’s reference number as your Email’s subject.)

We will review your documents within 5 working days of the receipt of email. Suitable candidates will be invited to St John's College, University of Cambridge to attend the recruitment fair on 5th July to discuss the role in more details via face to face meeting with representatives of the three Chinese universities.   

We will cover your transportation costs for this event (up to £80.00).

Hebei University (HBU)

Nanjing Institute of technology (NJIT)


NJIT, which holds the presidency of China’s Special Committee of National Application-oriented Universities and vice presidency of Postgraduate Training Unit Alliance for Special Needs of National Service, is an ordinary university administered directly by Jiangsu Province. NJIT is located in the ancient city of Nanjing, where nature bestows beautiful landscapes and cultural ethoses contend.

Northeast Normal University (NENU)


NENU is an institution of higher learning under the direct administration of the Ministry of Education, and one of the national key universities given construction priority of the 211 Project. NENU is located in Changchun City. 
The university comprises 78 undergraduate specialties, 34 M.A. programs of the first-level discipline, 22 Doctoral programs of the first-level discipline, 20 Post-doctoral Research Stations.


Six disciplines of NENU, mathematics, chemistry, statistics, Marxism, world history, materials science and engineering have been selected into the “Double First-rate” construction disciplines. Six disciplines, including pedagogy, ecology and biology etc., have been selected into A-level disciplines in the fourth round of national disciplines evaluation. There are five national key disciplines in NENU. Four disciplines have been listed in the top 1% of the ESI global ranking, and NENU has ranked fourth of the ESI total cited articles among national colleges and universities.
