Nanjing Institute of Technology Visit to Clare Hall, University of Cambridge and CUDC

China UK Development Centre welcomed a delegation from Nanjing Institute of Technology on 22nd October this year. The members of the delegation included Mr Guojun Shi, the Chair of University Council, Professor Weikang Shen, the dean of School of Communication Engineering, Professor Hongyan Wang, the Dean of School of Energy and Power Engineering, Professor Xianyun Li, the Director of Postgraduate Students’ Office, Associate Professor Jiande Zhang, Deputy Director of the School of Computer Engineering and Associate Professor Jing Jiang, the Deputy Director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange.


Please change the context to 'The main purpose of their visit to Clare Hall was to discuss collaboration opportunities in student programmes and visiting fellowship. The delegation met with Professor David Ibbetson, the President of Clare Hall of the University of Cambridge, Dr Marie Janson, the Development Director of Clare Hall, Dr. Ruigang Michael Zhou, Head of Operations and Partnerships of CUDC. Several collaboration projects were discussed during the meeting and a Memorandum of Understanding was successfully signed to establish this friendly partnership between the two institutions.'




Furthermore, Dr Jason Zheng Jiang, the Co-founder and Managing Director of China UK Development Centre invited the delegation to a meeting to discuss the possibility of developing cooperation with other Cambridge University Colleges and recruiting highly skilled talents. Strategic implementation plans were discussed and established for Nanjing Insitute of Technology. CUDC will continue to discover new collaboration opportunities for the institution to connect with more top universities in the UK.
